Just trawled through the Sg Employment Act and was disappointed to find that the provisions do not deal with what happens when an employee is discriminated against or subjected to verbal abuse in the workplace.

It's all about what's in the contract of service and disputes over money.

Will have another look at it again in case I missed something.

Am curious to know what legal recourse, if any, an employee has if he/she has a boss who habitually uses vulgarities at work, tells dirty jokes in the hearing of staff and shows displeasure if the offended employee walks out.
